MODERN COTTAGE

The goals for the renovations and additions to this tiny house were to create a new character and add space. A second floor replaced a finished attic and joined with the masonry first floor, taking on a traditional cottage feel. The front and rear one story additions are more modern in character to contrast and complement the two story traditional structure. Front and rear are linked with a clear path delineated by built-in cabinetry that takes on different functions as it moves through the house.
